Registration uses a name, optional username, email and password. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Profiles, posts, friendships and messages are stored in the site’s own database.

Visibility

Choose public, friends-only or private posts. Private group posts are limited to active members. Only participants can read private messages; messages are not end-to-end encrypted.

Cookies and retention

An essential session cookie is used for security. No external analytics or advertising cookies are included. A hash of the IP address is temporarily retained for rate limits. Account deletion removes related database records. Backup and file retention depend on the operator’s policy.

This is a starter template. Before launch, the operator must add their identity, contact, hosting provider, retention periods and applicable obligations.
